My education in wood technology began at Morrisville State University of New York in 1986. My major in Wood Technology is
defined as learning the micro structure of wood and its properties,or more simply ,Taking a tree and making a piece of
furniture out of it and all processes in between.
After attending school,I began working for the American Placement Company as a Regional Manager. My duties required
oversight of all deliveries,service and shipping,of All JcPenny Portfolio Furniture In The Albany region of New York. While
repairing damages before delivery I found my true passion!

To fuel my passion, I started working for one of the largest Furniture companies in the United States At the time. Raymour And
Flannigan Furniture. I continued to shape my craft by repairing in home furniture and stock pieces. Shortly after my time at
Raymour and Flannigan, I felt confident in my abilities and opened my own repair and refinishing business. I contracted for
upscale furniture companies including Dunkin Bright Furniture,The Piano and Organ Center and expanded my business to
include local residents, I then Became the Head of a finishing Department for a cabinet company Shomar enterprises,
Performing on site repair and restoration.

I joined the National Furniture Restoration Hot line to certify my company in 1996. I then started to take on work from an
unfinished furniture company out of New Hampshire. I added another dimension to my skills and strengthened my dedication
for my art by custom color matching for large quantities of furniture.

In 2003, I moved my business to Ohio and opened Allwood Furniture Repair. Which has since earned the clientele of both local
and national companies. My Customer base includes: The Holiday Inn Express, The Country Inn Suites, local churches,Burger
King, The Grainery Furniture and Gift Barn, Ashely Furniture, Gromans Piano and service to local residents. My mission is
simple, to offer EVERY customer I provide a service for is always satisfied, no matter what it takes. For this reason, I
genuinely believe that the age old meaning of customer service is exemplified through Allwood Furniture Repair.
